Quality Inn & Suites Groesbeck North

I had tried a hotel in another close by city and was not pleased. That said I tried Quality Inn and Suites. I have traveled extensively world wide. I find this hotel a wonderful experience. The room was clean and fresh. Excellent bed. Clean bathroom. The breakfast was hot, fresh and continuously monitored! I cannot say enough about the staff. Everyone and I mean everyone had a smile and wonderful attitude. Thank you Quality Inn and Suites. I will be staying here again!

First time staying at a Quality Inn. The check-in was quick, the associate was nice and informative. The room was clean, even though I still did my own cleaning. Bed had fresh mattress cover and linens and slept good. Bathroom was clean. The carpet needed some attention (shampooing), but there wasn't any smells. I could tell they were doing upgrades. The breakfast was sub-par but I expected that anyway...it was still edible. (Eggs, sausage, self-made waffles, toast, cereals, yogurts, muffins, danishes, juice, coffee). If I had to go back to Groesbeck, I would definitely want to stay here again...

Room was clean, shower was hot, A/C worked well, not noisy/rattling like some are at other hotels, and elevator worked and was quiet. Water faucet aerators need to be cleaned or replaced as no aeration which equals splashing water as it strikes your hands! Not a Marriott or Hilton property but also half the price, at least. Like most hotels lately, maintenance issues pop up. In our case, those were relatively minimal. Complementary breakfast was pretty basic (but good) and did have waffles. Coffee had a strange taste like they reused the coffee filter? (probably not) Very friendly staff. But one thing I found kinda odd is they demand full payment up front (credit card … I understand cash.) Other hotels run your credit card through and then charge your account upon checkout. I was taken aback somewhat when the lady (Indian—like from India—accent) was so serious about needing to charge us right off the bat instead of just scanning our credit card. Sort of felt like I was checking into a Motel 6! Not a warm, fuzzy feeling! The gentleman who appeared to operate the place (I think the lady is his wife) went above and beyond to please us! Overall, they deserve a 5 star review.

Our company reserved rooms for us here for a 3-day symposium at the Mexia SSLC. A perfect 15-minute scenic drive into Mexia. The check-in was fast & easy, same for the check-out. The staff are nice & helpful. The complimentary breakfast was good. I enjoyed my stay. The air conditioner was nice & cool. The sheets & comforter were soft & cool. The water pressure & temperature in the shower were perfect! The room had a smart tv, microwave, mini refrigerator, & everything worked as it should. A co-worker said she could hear the train go by. I didn't hear a thing, but I also travel with my small fan for white noise. I enjoyed my stay & I would stay here again. There's several restraunts & a grocery store nearby.

Fast check in, pleasant clerk. Very quiet room and nice breakfast. Easy to find location

I have traveled extensively in the US, sea to shining sea, and have stayed at many Choice hotels, many Quality Inns. This location surpassed my expectations. The owners are very hospitable and friendly. The room was big, with blackout blinds. There was a comfy reading chair near the window. There were easily accessed plugs near the bed. And the sheets... oh my. So soft. Bathroom was big, but I really liked the fact that there were 2 full length mirrors outside the bathroom that could be used while someone was in the bathroom. They also have a nicely appointed fitness center and a decent sized pool. Breakfast was limited, but it was all fresh, including freshly made Waffles and a yogurt dispenser.

Had to be in Marlin for business and refuse to stay in hotels there. This is my second time at Groesbeck Quality Inn and I love it. My husband loved it too. The only drawback is we stayed on a Sunday night and restaurants are very limited in Groesbeck. We went to Waco for dinner with friends, it was just a 30 minute drive.

Clean rooms, went there for a high school play off game location was perfect. Service was good. Had a descent breakfast. Only drawback is the restaurants around were not open we only found 1 close by on a Friday afternoon that was open.
